1 Of 2 Rare Antique Aesthetic Sterling Silver Whiskey Flask Gorham

Offering a very rare antique sterling silver flask by Gorham. Created, 1888.
This lovely rare flask features an intricate though heavy basket weave motif over a thick hand blown glass flask. The silver workmanship extends the entire body of the piece and is topped by a swirl shaped Art Nouveau style lid. The lid twists to open/close and it retains it’s original cork. The flask is signed with Gorham’s star mark, making the year of manufacture, 1888. That makes this flask a very early one.
Measuring 5 1/2” Tall, 2 1/2” Wide and Weighing a hefty 255.6 grams or 9.01 oz.
Condition is extremely fine and patina is to die for.
