Lewis Feuchtwanger, a German-born Chemist moved to the United States in 1829, settling in New York City.  He produced a variety of German Silver (an alloy of metals featuring no silver) consisting of nickel, copper, and some zinc.  Feuchtwanger suggested to Congress in 1837 that his metal should be substituted for copper in US Coinage.  He made one cent and three cent pieces which circulated freely during the coin shortage of 1836-1844.  Population Estimate of only 200 Three Cent Pieces were ever coined.

First Class or Express Mail options:   NOTE:  USPS is undergoing some significant service slowdowns.  It is not uncommon to take 3 weeks for delivery of first class or priority mail.  The post office has initiated new standards (ie. Used to be same day for shipments from Dahlonega to Atlanta (50 miles), now it is a minimum of two days).
The only standard USPS guarantees right now is express mail (approximately per package) with 2 day delivery.
