Condition: both sides. Get this under a light with a loupe, you'll think "Bejeweled Gem!", just as I did. Sapphire, ruby, garnet, emerald, gold all popping out from around the stars and every protected area on the surface. Simply Beautiful. Looking again to try and determine why such a stingy grade. Perhaps the few highpoints of original silver gave them concern, but looks more like untoned areas than any sort of friction. This two year Type is absolutely necessary for a comprehensive "Type Set", with but 169 seen at PCGS in MS62 and 479 better (lotsa unreported retries mixed in there I'm sure). And of those, how many look .like this? Not many. Coinfacts has some nice pics of higher grade examples with what is very similar toning.
