Vtg 1970s American Pottery Western Screech Owl ~ Wise Old Owl Figurine
This American Pottery 7” figurine is of a Western Screech Owl, as evidenced by the yellow eyes and the ear tuffs.
It has excellent feather overlay detail, and sits securely on an oval base.
It is in gently used pre-owned condition, with no chips, cracks, or breaks.
It does not have a makers mark, and perhaps had a label that was washed off over
the years.
Please keep in mind this is vintage and not a new item. I try to describe items as accurately as possible, but cannot always detail each flaw. Crazing and manufacturing flaws such as pin heads, color variations, straw marks, bubbles, inclusions, and other manufacturing anomalies are considered normal for  pottery of age. Most vintage items are as they came from an estate, and for that reason, all items are photographed and described with honest intent. I believe in honest and fair dealings and expect that you do too.
